Frosty reports that Hal ZS6WB had an accident with his car, and has no transportation,
so regretfully there will be no EME or 6 meters this trip. Sorry!
John C91XO worked 9 JA's on 160m the evening of July 16th.
The internet is very slow, but hopefully some logs will
be online early next week.
Update report 10 June 2008
Well things are looking up for our DXpedition to Mozambique this July.
After spending 6 days in Kruger National Park, RSA
we will be on the air starting the night of the 16th of July through the 30th of
July. Will have 2 complete stations one for CW and one for SSB. Both will have
T-8 Log-periodics thanks to Tennedyne, and they will be up at about 50 feet plus.
There will also be a 40 meter 4 square and possible 80 meter 4 square.
Of course the 72 foot vertical will be up for 160/80/30 meters.
I was hoping to have a new Expert 1K-FA amplifier to try out but time is about
up and with out sponsors we will be using the old IC2KL amps.
Our team has several new members. See the chart below.
We will be on all bands from 160- 10m this trip.
I just hope that we get some sunspots so that we can work folks on 15/12/10 meters.
John 9M6XRO will be operating from July 11-13 in Johannesburg, South Africa as ZS6/GM3OOK, and
from Mozambique July 14-19 as C91XO, and then leaving us to go over to
Swaziland on the 19th to operate there till the 25th as 3DA0OK. His cards go to his manager M3SDE.
The rest go to each person's home call. We will have a log look up here sometime after we start operations.
Our internet is via a pay as you go cell phone. So don’t look for too much from us everyday.

We gratefully acknowledge Tennadyne for donating the T8 beams used in our past C9 DXpeditions.

This is the 72 foot vertical that we use for 160-80 and it also works on 30 meters.
